Our School Vision

We have created actions to help us to remember our school vision. You can learn our actions here.

The Church of England Vision for Education provides the backdrop to our own school vision.
"This vision will be worked out explicitly within the Christian character of thousands of Church schools, but our vision is also about shaping wider educational policy and embracing others who are drawn to it as they recognise something deep and rich for the common good"

Our Vision Alive Award recognises those children who have been nominated by staff or their peers for bringing our "vision alive". Children are nominated for showing the Fruit of the Spirit or using what we have learnt in our Heartsmart lessons. We celebrate at the end of each term with a reward of toast and jam.
We enjoyed a Vision and Values Week in February 2020. All classes enjoyed learning about our vision and linking it to our class Fruit of the Spirit. In turn the children learnt about some Fruitful lives who we can use as role models. Unfortunately, we couldn't hold our open event as planned but our work can be viewed on our Twitter link.
We asked our families and children to show us what our new vision meant to them through art. It was wonderful to see everyone's ideas. Our Parent Vision Committee selected some of their favourites to be used around our school grounds in due course. Well done everyone.
