I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to St Andrew’s Church of England (Aided) Primary School.
St Andrew’s is a welcoming and inclusive school where we are passionate about ensuring that our children are given education of the highest standard. Through high quality teaching and learning experiences, and targeted intervention and support, we aim to ensure that each child is able to enjoy, aspire and achieve throughout their time at St Andrew’s.
Our Christian values, known as the ‘Fruit of the Spirit’, are at the heart of all we do and they shape our actions and interactions with each other as well as inspire the broad and balanced engaging curriculum that we offer our children.
Our Christian values are:
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness,
Gentleness and Self-Control (Galatians 5:22-23)
We hope that our website gives you a taste of life at St. Andrew’s and helps you to discover more about us, the achievements of our children and the exciting opportunities we provide. Please do not hesitate to contact the School Office with any queries you may have or to arrange a tour of our wonderful school. We look forward to meeting you.

In science today, Y6 have been constructing classification keys to try to sort a bowl of different sweets. They chose different yes/no questions to start sorting, then developed more questions to add in more branches. The temptation was a bit too much for some! 🍬 🍭
A big thank you to Simon from Rock of Joy Trust who came to collect the shoes from our 'Walk in Their Shoes Appeal'. These shoes will be taken to Lady Grace School in Uganda when the charity visit this month. We will continue to collect for the next trip. @RockofJoyTrust

Just like adults, children and young people feel worried and anxious at times. If your little one is feeling a little worried or anxious, try making a worry box. You can decorate it together and work through those worries 🥰 https://t.co/0gMZkUvSJp https://t.co/VyFheEKnYA
We loved 'Healing and Feeling Friday'. Super outfits and there were some great messages for us to take out of Refugee Week and into the future. "Let our love heal you" is one we will all remember.
Well done to our super swimmers from Y4 for completing their first week of swimming! 🏊♀️
