Church Connections
St. Andrew's is an Anglican school and the religious education it provides is
in conformity with the rites, practices and doctrines of the Church of England.
For many years the links between the school and St. Andrew's Church have been
strong. Once a week, members of the Parish Church full time staff lead our
morning acts of worship.
Milestones and festivals in the life of the school are often celebrated in church. Services attended include "Start the New School Year " in September, "Christingle" in December, "Education Sunday" and the "Easter Service" in Spring and the "Day School Service" in Summer. These take place at either Townfield Church (in school) or at St. Andrew's Church.
Collective Worship
Our worship is a vital part of each school day. Worship is led by Parish staff, the Headteacher and school staff and follow specific themes. All children are present for our worship.
